Moving to a new country, joining an international company, and leading a culturally diverse team, all these situations constitute a significant change and require some adaptation in order to be successful. Entering a foreign market and understanding local customers and business partners frequently is a source of challenges.
In new cultural settings, we often find that the previously proven ways of doing things don’t bring the expected results. Usually, it’s not easy to grasp why and develop effective strategies for communicating and operating in a new environment. Many people go through culture shock or, at the very least, face lots of stressful situations, making them less efficient.
Working with a coach enables you to deal with cross-cultural challenges more consciously.
Over the course of several meetings held at regular intervals, the goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and develop an approach in which you have a greater sense of control, are more effective, and are more likely to succeed. The coaching approach and tools used allow you to set a course of change and choose the path to your goal that is most appropriate under the new circumstances.
I conduct individual and group coaching sessions for middle and senior management, project teams, project managers, and small and medium business owners. I also help design and research foreign markets, especially for culture-sensitive products and services.

As a coach, advisor, and counselor, I deploy my coaching expertise (VCC – Vocational Certificate Competence), skills, and knowledge gained during many years of international work and living abroad.
I work internationally on a daily basis. Currently, I spend most of my time in Paris. I teach MBA and undergraduate courses for international students at the Paris School of Business, the American Business School of Paris, and the WSB University Merito (Poland). I often have more than ten nationalities and cultures represented in the classroom and frequently mentor multicultural groups working on consulting projects for French startups.
My fascination with interculturalism began during my studies in Hispanic Culture and Literature. I worked as a translator and interpreter for several years, assisting companies in global expansion and takeovers. I had the opportunity to work and study in different countries and multicultural teams: a marketing project in the Turkish market, working as a representative of an American university in the Middle East, managing a marketing team in Oman, studying intercultural communication at Universidad de Valladolid and an Executive MBA at the Helsinki School of Economics, and recently on an academic internship in Seoul.
Becoming culture savvy is a life-long learning process, as cultures are dynamic, and so are the business and social environments we immerse in for professional and private purposes. New intercultural experiences serve me to hone my skills and broaden my knowledge daily.
